Tesoro Hawaii wins $296M military contract

Tesoro Hawaii Corp. has been awarded an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity military contract worth a maximum of $296.6 million to supply fuel from its Kapolei refinery.

The company?s bid was chosen from among 10 responses to an online solicitation by the Defense Logistics Agency Energy at Fort Belvoir, Va., the Department of Defense said.

The work is to be completed by Jan. 30, 2013.

A Tesoro Hawaii spokesman declined to comment on the contract.
